Morpho RD Service document is to assist end-user in installation of Morpho RD Service and using it with Morpho MSO1300 Biometric Fingerprint Device.

MORPHO Biometric Fingerprint Device is successfully integrated Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 (32-bit and 64-bit) with custom business applications.

All biometric devices for Aadhaar authentication are mandatory to be registered with UIDAI w.e.f. 01-Oct-17.

Registered devices address the solution to eliminate the use of stored biometrics. It provides three key additional features compared to public devices:

Device identification – every device has a unique identifier allowing traceability, analytics, and fraud management.
Eliminating use of stored biometrics – biometric data is signed within the device using the provided key to ensure it is indeed captured live. Then the Registered Device (RD) Service of the device provider must form the encrypted PID block before returning to the host application.
A standardized RD Service provided by the device providers that are certified.

MORPHO Device Registration (RD Service) requires network access at multiple levels to function correctly. Only registered Morpho 1300 can be used for fingerprint authentication.
